I think I haven´t yet reached the last stage, but I am close, very close! It´s okay in the morning, because by then the house has cooled down- the nights are cold enough to let it happen. So I quickly did some housework, hubby working his part, then he was off to do some grocery shopping or shopping for whatever he thinks we are in need of, while I tried to recover from housework with my third cup of coffee. Then it was Sudoku time, we both doing the one found in our daily, which usually is a complicated one and best solved by helping each other. After Sudoku it was early cooking, because after twelve the kitchen gets flooded by sunlight and heat, and I won´t close the shutters and cook under artificial light. Never ever, that´s for the wintery season only! This year is the first one I have problems to adapt myself to the quite warm weather. We had 28 degrees today, not exactly hot, and I really felt battered. The vegetable strudel I did for lunch did not sit well with my stomach, and the after-lunch nap turned into a full recovery sleep. Not that I felt that much recovered afterwards! Tomorrow I will brave the pool for the first time this year, and I have to be quick, because hubby intends to drain some of the water- a plumber has to do some repair work, one of the ducts is leaking :((
Needless to say that not much knitting got done today- the cotton yarn was sticking to my fingers because of the warmth! But this time I finished the trim with the button holes on the correct side, did the trim around the neck and knitted half of the second sleeve. Tomorrow´s goal: sewing the parts together, so that I can decide if the sleeves will need additional rows. WWW is not exactly helpful, it tells me that a sleeve in Elsa´s size should be between 39 and 45 centimetres. The jacket she wore last autumn has 34 cm sleeve´s length, but the body of the cardigan is quite loose. I think I will decide upon the happy medium!
Btw: Daughter mine just called and told me, that a lot of police was to be found at the other side of the street. No wonder, there´s been another murder. A lot of people go berserk these days...
