Staying at home...
Jun. 29th, 2023 07:26 pm ...today, because it´s warm and sunny and time to have fun in the pool- this was the original plan. From tomorrow on we will have two to three cool days with rain-thanks a lot, seven sleepers day! You did it again! Also staying at home on Sunday, because we have to postpone our trip to Graz. Hubby did forget about a tiny detail in his planning: Sunday is GP day in Spielberg, so lots of Formula one fanatics will be on their way, which is also our way. We definitely do not want to mingle with hordes of hobby racers, some of them on crack or alcohol, which is involved often enough! That and tuned cars, a really bad combination! We will do the trip during the week instead, depends on number four and his working schedule!
I did a pattern for the front of Cassian's jumper- took me a long time to get it the right way. And the minute I started with knitting we got a phone call- DiL and the boys wanted to come for another pool day. If the pattern will be the same as last year, sunny pool days will get spent with a lot of family, and rainy days will be for hubby and me alone. I am pretty sure that hubby is content with the situation. Well, I am not. It's either sit in the house doing housework, knitting and reading or getting drowned in the pool by grandchildren . What about sitting next to the water with a book in one hand and a glass of campari soda in the other, without danger of getting the book soaked and the drink diluted with pool water?
