Perfect day

 

This early morning I woke up freezing. Windows of the bedroom had been open during night, and I had dropped my duvet, as usual. A look at my mobile told me it was nine degrees outside. Autumn has indeed arrived!
Weather will be fine for the next days and will get really warm during day. Not summer-hot, but still!
I can watch the children around preparing for school. Julia on the backside of our house is doing maths every afternoon. Fourth class grader now, aiming for gymnasium. Her mother is loudly scolding her when she does her tasks wrong. I must say that her mother has quite a strong voice! Never saw idiot neighbour's granddaughter sitting in the garden, reading a book. And read she did for a long time. Maybe she's the black sheep in the family, because during all those years we live in this house we have never seen anyone of this family reading, not even a daily!
Hubby left early today and brought the new old Malm drawer he bought at Willhaben. He also brought the new ebike he had bought for himself but forgot to tell me. 4500 Euro only... Drawer is cleaned and in its new place. Looks just the same the others do- perfect! Of course, I tidied the whole bedroom, too. All I have to do the day after tomorrow is getting rid of a few things in the boxes. And bring the old drawer to the mudroom. And the one from the mudroom to the upper bathroom. But not tomorrow- tomorrow it's a trip to the zoo with Cassian and Flavius. And daughter and hubby, too. Number one with offspring will join us for lunch and an afternoon at the pool...
