Elsa the banshee

 Hubby finally managed to switch to another cellphone provider, but wasn´t able to do the same with my account. I will have to make a pilgrimage to the townhall to get an online identification. No, I don´t do internet banking, which would have been helpful. I told hubby that I would not start the pilgrimage this Friday morning, because then I would have started another family war- you can´t be at son´s house at twelve o´clock, when you want to do that identification first. Twelve o´clock is lunch time for this family (mine is around three in the afternoon). It´s a two and half an hour trip, when the weather is fine. It definitely was not fine this day- strong winds and a lot of rain all night long! Besides, we had to pick up lunch for four adults plus two children at Kurti. Kurti does Turkish cuisine, which all seem to like, at least so we were told. Turned out that DiL and granddaughter preferred roast chicken, which DiL picked up for the two, and I payed for it later. The whole pick-lunch-up thing cost me more than 100 Euros. What a bummer, but since our favourite pizza service now charges 14 euro per pizza, this outcome had to be expected.
Grandchildren did eat next to nothing, so son did eat for them. We brought back home what I did not eat, which was quite a lot, because I never eat big servings, even though weight does not go down. Elsa gave her best to pass for the pain in the backside all know she can be. Not eating, only howling, wanting lunch, when her mother had put it away, throwing one tantrum after another. And her younger brother is just starting to behave the same way. Honestly, I would protest very hard against a social worker like DiL working at the family Court! One view of her family, and each one must see that there´s something very wrong with her own children! The lady is raising terror on two legs! But then I asked Elsa, if she could draw a painting for me, and she did! That girl can draw! Wow! Drawing makes Elsa happy and compliant, I wonder why her parents won´t support this ability of hers! At five we finally left. We saw some snowflakes on our way back home, daughter had my lunch for dinner, then hubby set up the wildlife camera at the attic- last night it has been a constant tapping of little paws that kept daughter and me awake. Hubby did not hear anything- oh the joy of being hard of hearing!
