I so should have known it! Today's was the last day with really warm temperatures. Daughter came for a day in and around the place I have written already too much this summer. Turned out that she did not even put a toe in the swimming pool but helped me with the ramen and the jigsaw puzzle straight from hell. The one who was frolicking in the pool was- tada- my niece. She called me yesterday, late in the evening, and hubby picked her up for lunch. I only meet her twice a year (she has been living in Vienna but recently went to Berlin for a new job at a theatre). We had a nice time, especially daughter and niece, when they remebered the pranks they carried out- oh dear, good that I only knew about half about it. I feel bad for my parents now, when they had to endure my sister's offspring and my number four and five. Two boys, two girls, oldest and youngest only three years apart. Those deadly four really must have rocked!
Hubby has begun to stow away all things concerning the pool. And he bought a new red pool noodle- Gryffindor (Cassian's) is back in the play again. Daughter found a way to test her niece and the nephews out. Elsa is Hufflepuff (what else), Cassian Gryffindor, Xaver Ravenclaw and poor Flavius got put into Slytherin, because there was only one green pool noodle left for playing (fighting). When he took a hefty bite off the noodle I knew that it was okay. The boy is indeed dangerous...
