Anger management
Oct. 6th, 2024 07:44 pm There's one thing that will always make me mad- that's when DiL stays at home to clean the house and drops the rest of the team at our house. Hubby and number four brought sister's sofa to a lady with six cats in a small flat, and when they came back home number two and the boys were with them. Luckily aunt Lil arrived early- Cassian and Flavius are smitten with her. We did continue with the jigsaw, and the boys sat and watched and were allowed to put some pieces into place. No quarrels. No running. I was flabbergasted! Meanwhile number two had a beer then took a nap- it had been him who had to do breakfast, dress the boys, prepare the roulades... Mme was still asleep when hubby called at eleven to ask when lunch should be served. That's when he got to know that he had to pick the family sans DiL up and continue with the beef. It´s not that I do not enjoy family life, but a missing DiL, a tired son, two hyper boys and a half-cooked lunch do not improve my mood on an otherwise sunny Sunday. I was livid, and even more so when I asked if the boys would want to join me with Halloween crafting- yes, they may, but only if DiL does not have other plans. Ha! Those plans I want to see! Of course, there´s Flavius´ birthday on Wednesday. One child of the boy´s kindergarten group is invited- her mother hails from Romania, that´s reason enough to earn an invitation.The first one who left in the afternoon was number four, followed by number five. Number two waited, because DiL suggested she´d pick her family up at 6:30. That´s when hubby made an evening snack for the boys then told them to dress- he´d be the one who´d bring them home at a reasonable time. At half past five they were finally off to harass their mother then.In the morning Hubby ordered the new freezer- this time a fridge-freezer- on Amazon. The one company we get told to shun. But had he ordered the freezer at our local electric shops it had to be either him to transport or pay for transportation. Amazon will deliver it directly at the entry door...
