How often do I have to say Grrr?
Oct. 30th, 2024 04:05 pm I spent the most part of the morning at the dentist. Applying a new crown shouldn´t take that long, but I had to wait for almost an hour to make it to the treatment room. A lot of people with aching teeth, half of them youths, had showed up and got poshed in between regular appointments, hence the congestion in te waiting room. The young ones were in dire need of tooth repair work, or trick-or-treating and the acquisition of sweets would have to get cancelled. The new crown feels alien to me- too much in a place where not much had been in before, which is saying that I have more toothache than I had before now.
Instead of directly driving to buy salmon for sushi I went to the pharmacy, picked up the prescription (pills against the toothache, I have a nice dentist who cares for his patients) and went back home for coffee and doing lunch. After lunch there was no resting today, but a trip over the border to get the fish. My brain can´t be so bad, because I could not find my mobile when at the shop. It was hidden under the amount of papers my husband had left on the passenger seat). I did not get sushi rice and German caviar and only forgot about buying cream. All other things were perfectly retrievable in my poor old brain. Hubby must be so jealous! Back home I decided that a resting period was necessary- and promptly slept for more than one hour. Good that my only job is doing cold dinner for sis and BiL and make a pumpkin pie. I hope the pumpkin hubby brought home from the shop will do. Hubby always buys hokkaido, but not today...
