Hubby started with work on the terrace at eight, but he did not get far- first the grinding wheel broke, and he had to go and buy a new one. Meanwhile I dusted the living room. Shortly after the cutting disk fell apart, and he was off again. I dusted again, because I had left the terrace door wide open when husband was cutting tiles. When he was not able to locate the special bolts he had bought for the last wooden beam I went upstairs. Officially, because I was looking for some recipe for lunch. In truth, because I was in need of a good laugh, and hubby does not like to be laughed at. Down again I noticed that husband was off again to buy the bolts he could not find anymore. He came back with bolts- and more salmon. Not that I don't love salmon, but our fridge is full of it. So spaghetti with salmon sauce it was for lunch. Daughter was ecstatic when she arrived- she loves salmon! Tomorrow she has early shift, so the two of us will be up at three. Now this night we also have a full moon, and a Strawberry moon at that. Barely seeable from where our house stands, but from the area around the airport the view will be good. The biggest problem is that from early afternoon on the air was polluted with what I thought was Saharan dust. Which it wasn't. It's smoke coming from the huge forest fires in Canada. Strawberry moon might turn out very grey...
Son phoned and told us of the shooting at a school in Graz. Such has happened before, but never with such a horrible outcome. And there are still all those idiots demanding weapons for practically everyone...
