Another night with not enough sleep. Grandson number one is about to start a cold, he's been sneezing and coughing during night. Not much, but still! No wonder- his mum did not put any long-sleeved shirts in the boys' suitcase. Neither did their father give us enough, because those all seem to be packed away for cooler season. Only that it is extraordinary cool for summer at the moment. Then there's the full moon, which often annoys me. This night, too, even though the blinds were tightly closed, and the moon was behind clouds- rain again, of course. But when driving home I managed to take a photo, when moon peeped out between clouds:

And another photo, when back home. Four fifteen, and so much darker already!

Cassian woke me the moment his clock showed the sun symbol. I sent him off with my tablet and a Lego builder video. I needed more sleep, and sleep I got until eight, when Flavius did his much detestet war cry. His brother had dragged him to the bathroom, because he was to take a shower. Why this boy hates showering so much but can't be dragged out of the pool I will never understand.
The aftermath of a conjunctivitis is puffy and itchy skin around the eyes. I will have to keep my fingers from rubbing, or the problem will start anew. But what's worse than simply rubbing is doing it with fingers with chipotle powder on them. Ouch, and ouch...
Rain lastet all morning long, so no biking for the boys. Number four did the minced meat for the tortillas, hubby cut tomatoes and onions, I made guacamole. The boys had tortillss the usual way, the rest of the family put them into the air fryer- we like them crispy!
Clothes washing is complicated at the moment, things won't dry up at a reasonable time. Son's sweater got put in front of the radiator- needed it in the afternoon- and hubby was off again to buy warmer shirts for the boys. We do not need more victims of the cold! When he was back, the sun came out and it got warmer...
Budget for groceries is overboarding, since the boys are used to having grapes and raspberries daily, in combination with yogurt and fresh bread rolls from the bakery. No clue how the family stems those costs, with mummy not working a regular job. There were some raspberries and grapes left, so I did fruit-peanut butter chocolate. Next time less peanut butter, more chocolate and sugar for the raspberries- those were exceedingly sour! Son left in the afternoon to visit a friend, hubby brought the boys to their father around five- blessed silence in the house! I will sleep as long as I want the next two days. Have already done vacuuming, to empty the battery. Hid the vacuum cleaner in the guestroom, so that husband mine will hopefully forget about recharging- he so loves early morning vacuuming on weekends! But I think I have earned two sleep-ins, especially since on Monday there'll be the next early morning drive. And on Tuesday as well as Wednesday...
