Please...

 ...can we have spring back? I am aware that today was supposed to be a bit cooler, but six degrees is not a bit but twelve degrees colder than yesterday! And hubby has turned the heating off! And I am tired, which makes it worse! I spent the morning with a bit of house cleaning and doing sudokus. Nothing of importance, as usual on Sundays. While hubby brought daughter back from work I made roast chicken with rice and salad for lunch. Then daughter and I continued with the jigsaw, but not for long- it simply was too dark in the conservatory. I really should insist on a better lighting system. Then again, hubby might install one of those glowing Ufos he loves so much that we have them installed all over the house. I am still waiting for Starship troopers to get rid of those monstrosities...
Daughter and I dressed into our warm, comfy jogging suits to fend off the cold and made ourselves comfortable on the couch in the TV nook. Watched news first (how I hate war situations) then construction accidents and finally Portuguese castles and monasteries. So different in architectural style, but so very beautiful! Daughter was in awe and will overthink her plan to spend her holidays in Scandinavia and do a tour of Portugal instead. I'd love to do the same, but with Elsa and later her family at our house in July, Cassian and Flavius occupying most of August and renovation work on the house in September it looks like we won't do any touring this year...again:(
