Busy day

 Daughter and I did early Easter shopping in Germany today- coloured eggs for instance. I quit colouring eggs when daughter, aged four, demanded I coloured the capes of her Baby Borns. She had five of the dolls at that time, and all of them had come with fancy clothing. Lots of fancy clothing. Princess dresses, a prince outfit (one of the dolls was clearly male), outfits for skiing, swimming, but the young lady wanted colourful capes, capes I had knitted from bland sheep wool brought from Greece. My fingers were stained with pink, green and blue for days on end, and that was it with further colouring of eggs. We also bought no-name chocolate needed for baking at a price one got a bar of Lindt once, found Hot Wheels and a Monster Truck for Matthäus. Family number three's suggestions for Easter presents for the children were really, really modest this year, but Cassian and Flavius will get a trampoline gifted by hubby- a big present, indeed! Now I need an additional present for Elsa, and that's it. The young lsdy is no more Frozen but loves Kpop Demon Hunters now...
After lunch we rested in front of the TV, lulled by Ancient Aliens, got woken by a very agitated hubby whose FB account had been hacked then went upstairs to sort out the last boxes with plush toys. Number one came to pick up the lawn mower he had placed in our carport for blade sharpening at seven in the morning, thinking that none of his elderly parents were up already. How wrong he was, I got up at six thirty but did not turn the lights on! Up early, to bed even earlier is what is happening today- another early drive is looming ahead, and there's more to come from Friday on. BTW, hubby has postponed tyre change to the middle of April. Even he thinks that the imminent return of winter and the not so nice weather outlook for Easter demand that at least one of our cars has the proper outfit for such a situation...
