Assembled on Friday...

 ...siliconed on Saturday, scratched to death (well, not completely, but still) on Sunday. Or better said: Hubby is a dork, an unteachable one. I was after him, when I saw him wield the cleaning sponge outside. Too late, the acrylic glass had already suffered damage. It´s not that I hadn´t told mister knows-it-all that this material is to be handled with care, but no... This made my day, but in a negative way. It´s not the first time that husband mine exceeds former idiocies, and meanwhile he is really good at creating new catastrophes, while my abilty to suffer has decreased- immensely so! So when the neighbour across the site next to our house told us that the owner has leased the area to a nearby farmer, who will start chicken farming there, my only thought was that at least chickens and eggs were consumable, hence useful. I think this says it all!
