Day two

We installed some of the Christmas lights. We are down to two light hoses, the other two died during summer, and all the fairy lights are missing. Husband dearest did a major reorganisation of the Christmas articles kept in the cellar and cannot find anymore what he has stowed away. Or, maybe, does not want to find it. Tomorrow it´s fence time for him- it´s his birthday, but there´s always a day after tomorrow. In the afternoon I drove to the mass vaccination site to get my third stab. I forgot to take my special plaster with me and left the site unplastered, much to the chagrin of the medic. Better safe than sorry, the plasters you get there are deadly for my condition, the moment they come in contact with my skin I get a rash, a hefty one at that. Medics always learn it the hard way. Worst rash I had was when they had removed my thyroid gland, ignoring my wish for a special plaster. A few hours later they quickly removed the ordinary plaster. Rush had spread from the neck all over my upper body. Now I will take a rest then watch evening crime time with hubby. Poor one is inconsolable, he as the oldest of the family has not yet gotten his code for the booster shot! Poor guy, he´s so eager to get his third jab!

We were lucky to get our jab at the family doctor's practice. Calm atmosphere, no crowd, quick deliverly — just the way I like it.

I try to avoid our doctor's practice. It's crowded all the time, while the mass vaccination sites are not, so less chance you'll catch the virus.
