Someone cheered too soon. Just when we were about to leave the house daughter phoned. No flight, no coming back today. There´ll be a flight early tomorrow morning, but this way she won´t be able to get her booster. I am livid. Hubby is even more livid. He is trying to get her a room next to the airport for the night. Airline says it´s the fault of the tourist agency. Agency says it´s the airline´s fault. Fact is she needs a room and has to be at the airport at five in the morning. That will be another problem. They better send a marching band to wake her up. Plan for tomorrow is hubby to Munich, me taking care of grandchild, because his mum is back to hospital with his baby brother for another check-up. Hubby hopefully will keep to the speed limits on the motorway. If daughter is late for vaccination, so be it. Shit happens!
And because this is a shitty day indeed an old aquaintance told us that hubby´s former colleague had died on Sunday. So instead of doing last preparations for Friday we will be off for a funeral. As if Covid wasn´t enough...
