There´s only four more squares to do for the baby blanket. Unfortunately there will be no stars. I have plotted and plotted, but it´s practically impossible to do one with so few stitches! So heart and smiley it will be for a space filler! And I have already crocheted together most of the letters! There´s the bobble border to do and a lot of threads to sew up, and then the blanket will go to number three´s family. I might add a small blanket for Elsa´s doll, too. There´s quite a lot of wool left now that I did a hard look under my work desk- I found a paper bag with four brandnew balls down there, even a violet one! That´s so me!
Tomorrow it´s Cassian day again. His mother wants to do a huge cleaning spree and has work enough with her youngest along the way. Cassian loves to clean, but he is also an independent worker, means his mother would have to have an eye on him all the time. Oh boy, this boy loves to make use of all chemicals he is not allowed to get his small hands on! In my humble household I have banned everything toxic onto the highest shelves, so that even the step ladder will not get him there!
We will get an early spring this year. Temperatures will go up to 12 degrees for the rest of the week. Means that the willows will be in bloom soon, and then my sneezing will start anew! I so love it!

Heart and smiley sound good! And I hear you, re: finding much-needed supplies in unlikely places after having finished the actual work!

Hopefully, Cassian will keep his love for cleaning when growing up. That would make any future spouse very happy. *g*

Don't give up, perhaps he is interested enough to learn doing things properly; although with a role model like his Grandpa your concerns are well-founded.

Your blanket is growing very quickly. I have all the squares for mine now, and tried yesterday to see which was the best way to join them — I decided to do a simple crochet join in a contrast colour after a bit of experimentation.

Joining the squares is hard work indeed. I love the idea of using a contrat colour, and single crochet joins look pretty!
