After heat comes the cold

...and we know how this goes- highly likely cold will stay longer than the heat of those last days. We had rain aplenty last night and will get more the next days. There might be regions which are in dire need of rain, but I really can´t say that we ever have a period of drought here, like in some parts of Germany. We are content when having two days straight without rain. Grass is green and lush (and high), strawberries are drowning, as always. 14 degrees is a bit low for the end of May, but it cannot be helped- that´s early summer in this part of the country!
Today daughter and I did Gimbap, three variations of it. Too much for us, even if we saved up one huge plate for tomorrow. I filled up a bento box for family number two, and hubby will bring it to them come morning, before he leaves for work. Btw, it´s not the spare parts that are the problem with hubby´s car. This was a blatant lie he got told. When he showed up at the repair shop before work this morning, they told him that there won´t be any repair work done until the question of fault gets clarified. That´s a real pleasure!
I also tried to knit a bit for future baby Matthäus, but it was so cold in the studio that I soon moved down to the main floor and did some reorganisation of the kitchen drawers. At least my kitchen was clean for a few hours, until daughter and I began our cooking spree!
