For the first time since the beginning of winter semester I did my paperwork on the glass table in the TV room. It rattled. No gentle vibrating but a thorough clattering. My pen did a jolly walkaround, I was not able to write a single word because I could not stand the intense vibrations. And all because of the ongoing roadworks. Ongoing since the beginning of July. No wonder that our bulbs fuse incessantly, books tumble from the shelves, the glass door and windows clink and the new bathroom lamp rid itself of three of the six glass cylinders, fortunately not wrecking the tiled floor. Works should be finished in December. Huzzah! Until then, I´ll be a physical wreck.
