Threnody for a cat...that wasn´t even mine

Much to the regret of all those who´d had the pleasure of meeting Pedro di Alma ( vulgo Pezi), most beloved cat to many of our estate, I have to inform you about his demise. Pezi, you have never been a vindictive representative of the proud race of Persians, or all of our children would bear the scars of having you dragged around, head first, if possible. You did not scratch. you did not bunk, you lived amongst the bunch of children and endured. Today, I had to pull you out of your owner´s gully, where you had spent the last moments of your life.The only thing I ask myself was, why a gully of all things! You´ve always hated water! I wish you were still here with us!

He looks rather old at the photo, but he surely was cute when young. Did he die of old age?

Indeed, he did.He was almost 19. But what a way to go!
