noadvertising I finally managed to do chicken-lentil curry, and it was fine, even though I must have chucked the coconut flakes out- the reason why I wanted to do this dish. Had to crumble some coconut chips instead, because I did not want to send husband for grocery shopping, when he had just returned. One has to use what´s in the house... Daughter was a bit flabbergasted that I had not invited her for lunch- how the hell am I supposed to know her working schedule? I promised to show her how to do the dish next time she is here. Or during those days, when hubby will be in Amsterdam and she wants to spend some time with me. Sounds nice but will be stressful. A lot of cookig lessons might be involved...
I am through all of the boxes on the studio´s shelves now. Said figurine is still missing. Cassian is dead sure that he has seen it, but can centaurs become invisible? Will have to buy a new one, it´s the only missing part of a series :(
Tomorrow is the first birthday celebration in January I will have to attend. The day after will be the next one. Honestly, I do not want to go to either of them. Still have a light head cold and do not want to infect the second birthday lady, who will be at the first party, too. Her health is bad enough already, it´s a wonder she is still alive! We bought both ladies spring flowers, prosecco and sweets. Well, hubby did. I was stuck with searching and cooking, and after lunch I started with reading on the guestbed then fell asleep for almost two hours, almost missing the last coffee of the day.
Kindergarten (and school, too) must be hell for children- there´s no day when I do not get a Whatsapp message that one of my grandchildren got infected by some hideous (childhood) disease. At the moment scarlet fever and hfm disease are at the top of the list. Hubby is my knight in shining armour, valiantly defending me and himself from parents trying to foist their offspring on us. Gods, it was so easy once- a sick child was staying at home. Nowadays parents send their children off, because they need to go to work- both of them! Let the sick games get started!
Another free evening for me! Will go to Amazon Prime once more in search of some movie I might love to watch. Yesterday I ended up with a children´s movie, and it took me a lot of time to switch the language...
