Good morning, it´s me, your sister- again

noadvertising Yesterday evening I had a long talk with sister mine. She´s calling me now twice a week at least. This time it was about me not responding when she calls- how then, when our house is swarming with people? What she wanted to tell me was that she finally found an old certificate of registration, which told that she very well had lived in our flat in Salzburg- so there must have been a complete idiot who had been digitalising registrations. I was glad for her- that theme is off the table now. Went to bed, slept until three then was off with daughter. Incredible light effects- with all that high fog the night got turned into a sickly yellow-pink twilight. I slept till eight, joined hubby for breakfast- and promptly got another call from sister mine. Last evening her husband had closed the electric blinds in the living room, which did not open again in the morning. Hubby was called to the rescue but could not help. Sister will have to spend the day in the living room´s darkness or retreat to one of the other rooms. And call a specialist for blinds tomorrow. The myszery of how my BiL has managed to tear off two slats and twist a third one will forever stay unravelled.
At one we went to number two for Ramen, bringing soup and meat while DiL did the rest. Even made blackened garlic I always wanted to taste but was never able to do (the process involves roasting garlic until it´s almost black, which would give me an asthma attack because of the fumes). We chatted, and all of a sudden one of my dental crowns fell off. Blimey! Another trip to the dentist is called for! Just now, when we´ll have Elsa at our house! Highly probably I will be a nervous wreck at the end of next week anyway! Sometimes I wonder why those things lways happen at most inconvenient times. Not that there´d be convenient times for such things...
BTW: Today´s Candlemas, the last day of the Christmas season. I have been meticulously clearing the house of all reminders of the season. Turned out that I completely forgot to remove the baubles on the table outside. Maybe I should get out of the house more often, but those last days were absolutely depressing- two degrees, wet and dark. Not the weather I need for going out!
