Adventurous again

noadvertising Since it was warm and sunny from early morning on I ignored that I had not slept so well thanks to the full moon illuminating the studio, which kept me awake for quite a while, and got up early. Hubby followed suit, as he always does when I try to sneak off the marital bed. After breakfast I had a quick shower, did blow dry my hair (hate it) and was off in my car- that is until I was able to convince it to start. Hubby reassured me that driving with that ominous light on the display was no big thing. Car thought otherwise and took its time. I went to the pharmacy for cough syrup, more nosedrops, calcium tablets and wart tincture and paid 85 euro. Pretty expensive I´d say! Then I went to Action for more strings of lights I need for Easter decoration. Of course, they had none. Off to the bank I was then to withdraw money I need for the chimney sweeper- usually I only pay by card. I felt tired again and returned home. Hubby was doing lunch today, yesterday´s lunch debacle made clear that cooking without smelling and tasting won´t go well, and yes, those senses are still off. Hubby did chillie sausages. Okay, I was able to sense the chillie. The huge amount of chillie. Oh dear! After lunch I finished the forelast bag of Hogwarts Lego and found a solution for the missing piece by exchanging an inner piece no one won´t ever see but which has the right form (but the wrong colour) with three small stones, put the one with the wrong colour on top of the boat house and put the other onto the tower, and that´s it. Looks perfect- almost! There´s bag number 24 left for Cassian to build, when he will be at our house tomorrow. I sincerely hope that this last bag will be complete...
After building I dragged myself up to the bedroom for a nap on the bed- and soon under the duvet, because I like it warm and cosy. I dreamed of big airplanes in the sky coming from Mombasa and landing in Brussels- don´t laugh, but I hear those planes at least twice a week around two in the morning, they are real! My befuddled brain took a while until it recognised that it was no plane but strong winds outside- weather took a change for the worse, there might be snow :((
The good thing with a head cold is that I have contact with friends and neighbours only by the use of my phone. No one will snow in, because no one wants the sniffles! I had three talks in the afternoon, the first with the friend who wants to go dining with me. When she heard my voice she knew that our time for dining will have to wait. Yay! But I very much enjoyed the conversation with an ex colleague. We will meet soon for breakfast in a nearby coffee shop, having the big breakfast for two with salmon, pancakes and all the things we´d love to have each morning but are too lazy to prepare and share the bill afterwards. That´s what friends do, not bleeding someone dry!
