 I got up early- weather forecast said we'd get rain from morning on, which was a blatant lie, because it was warm and sunny most of the time- had breakfast then drove to the bank to not get wet. Bought more medication at the pharmacy- I must have spent around 150 euro for pills and syrups recently. Then daughter called to tell me that she has fallen sick. Sore throat, a cough, more sneezing. That's splendid, since the two of us will be stuck with each other for a week. Blessedly our musical visit will be on Friday, and I sincerely hope that my next cold will wait it out, but more pills had to be bought for Lil. Daughter and I were happily packing along when I realised what I had forgotten about- the G adapter, to be able to charge our mobiles. Hubby went into rescue mode, went through the content of his charger box- and promptly found two three-pin plugs. Problem solved! Then came the real hard part- decide upon which system of payment for travelling the Tube we will use. I opted for the Oyster Card and against the daysaver ticket- we still do not know the days we´ll need one, and with Oyster it does not matter. if there´s some credit left we can give the card to niece and her boyfriend. We ordered the tickets for Hop-on, Hop-off, I grimly added the distances I am supposed to walk tomorrow (daughter managed to find a nice hotel exactly in the middle of two Tube stations (thank you very much!), I found a Korean dinner around the corner which will serve as refreshment station, then we went down to weigh the suitcase, only to notice that some things had to stay at home- the suitcase was too heavy. Not much, but still...
