...and probably happy about it, even though I love the vibes of big cities. But I have to admit that I am too old for touring all day long. My back hurts thanks to the odd mattress in the hotel room, my hip has never quit hurting, and my feet are thoroughly affronted, having to carry my weight for too many hours a day.
Today we got up at six thirty, packed the suitcase, checked out at seven thirty, bought sandwiches at Tesco then took the tube to Liverpool station. Managed to get the early train to the airport, where we spent a lot of time at the food compartment. Wonders will never cease- we arrived at Salzburg airport half an hour early- and it was raining. Hubby, who picked us up, told us that it had never ceased raining. And that it was 17 degrees in the living room each morning. Well, weather in London had not been warm either, but without rain save for yesterday afternoon. Suitcase got unpacked immediately thanks to daughter, who got warmly welcomed at our arrival by her colleagues. I can't say that I missed daughter's early morning shifts, but we will start again on June the second :). The good thing at the airport was that another of daughter's coworkers gifted her a package of Haribo HP candies. The one she got at her departure we ate when sightseeing. Now Cassian and Flavius will have some, too...
