Fun park day for the boys! We got up early and had breakfast on the terrace- a rare occasion for us! Hubby and son were off at half past eight, I took a shower, had another power nap and a video call with family number two. Afterwards I dressed for success and drove to the bank for some information. Met with daughter at twelve thirty and off we were for a shopping spree. So good when most people are safely stored in community baths and private pools, while shops are almost empty! 36 degrees can do this after five weeks of rain weather! After spending quite a lot of money on toiletries, comfy sandals and T-shirts we packed our purchases into the car and drove to the Indian restaurant daughter had found via Google. Their butter chicken is really good! Back home we had coffee and a slice of the cheese cake I had bought. The rest is for tomorrow, when family number one will have a pool day at ours, and family number three is in for a swim, too- I fear that that's it. From Monday on temperatures will go down drastically, so no more swims for me. So very typical, that the last days of summer will pass by with me doing cooking and housework and watching pool fun from afar, to not get another eye infection!
So I sent daughter to the jigsaw and spent one long hour soaking in the poolwater- felt fabulous! Refreshing, indeed! Alas, sun hid behind the hill range at six thirty, and from that moment on gadflies started attacking. Ouch! I did not know that we had so many of them! I fled into the house and called it a day. It's early-to-bed day anyway!
