We did indeed get a bit of snow in the early morning ( mouse ankle-high), but soon snow turned into rain with occasional white flakes. Blessedly no sleet, even though none of us intended to leave the house in the morning. Daughter and I did housework instead, hubby turned the washing machine on and took care of the wood stove. Since there was still chicken meat in the fridge I did chicken Parma for lunch- daughter loves to expand her knowledge on cooking and likes to chop and mix. Technically there wasn't a lot of chopping to do save for dicing onions and peeled tomatoes (no canned ones left in the basement). Hubby breaded the chicken escalopes, daughter did the sauce and I was on charge- best role allocation ever! Since there's still chicken escalopes and sauce left I won't have to cook tomorrow- cut escalopes and tomatoes will go into wraps together with salad and plenty of mozzarella...
After lunch hubby had a nap, while daughter and I watched more of the most ridiculous show running at the moment, called Ancient Aliens. Damn, that series is so funny! Before daughter left we painted the wooden blocks hubby had cut for me, painted sketchy windows and sorted wood chips for the roofs I will stick on tomorrow. She also downloaded two apps to create a new ring tone for me- I 'Journey to the Cave' now. Maybe number four, who is due on Friday, will add a nice theme of a Christmas carol to my list, and I am done with ringtones for the next years. I thoroughly miss my old Christmassy one done by the Transsiberian Orchestra, the one with the big guitar solo. It must have died with one of my old phones. Blimey!
