Onwards to more decluttering

noadvertising After breakfast I felt that I could not stay in Holiday mood anymore, so decluttering it was. Found lots of things that had to go into the bin- even if it was not that easy, because our waste bin was full to the brim- but only since hubby deems it a perfect place for hiding the yellow sacks with plastic waste, which one can't leave outside with all the wind and nosy critters. When I went outside to get rid of those things I first had to drag said sacks out of the bin first. And, of course, putting them back in afterwards! I wonder why no one has opted for a forth, this time yellow bin for each house. We already have blue for normal waste, green for organic one and red for waste paper. Add a yellow one to complete the happy mix of colours, please! It´s so refreshing to see all those fancy bins lined up along the houses!
I do not like our current weather. Even with sunshine we only went up to minus three, and hubby tested if the frost protection in the screen wash of our cars was still working. Has no one told the good man that in case it won't spray anymore all is lost already and a drive to the car repair service inevitable? Would not have been the first time hubby forgot to insert the proper amount of frost protection!
In a new fit of boredom I rid the vegetable rack of cabbage and potatoes and made Wiener Krautsuppe, even though we had leftovers from yesterday's spaghetti. Will feed the soup to daughter, when she comes tomorrow (she loves cabbage)- eight four o'clock shifts in the space of two weeks are looming ahead. We both are not amused but will survive. As long as there won't be heavy snowfall (weather forecast says no) and black ice (might be) not a big problem for me, since I am almost always awake at this time! Last night was an indicator- went to bed around midnight, could not sleep first but read online news, finally slept until three, went to the loo then watched the path of the full moon- even with the blinds in the bedroom closed the light coming from the studio kept me awake for quite a while. No more full moon with the blinds open, I swear! Now I only have to set alarms, to not forget...
