Rain, rain, go away...

noadvertising Last time it was the cold, now we have an abundance of water from above. It´s one degree only, but the times when it used to be snowing at such temperatures are long past!
At the moment I am a very grumpy person. The pain medication is not working the way it´s supposed to, and can one have a severe headache next to a toothache when having taken all those pills? I was putting away a bit more of the Christmas decoration- Santas, tiny houses with Santas, most of the angels. Only angel Sturzflug is allowed to stay a while longer- the one who will always dive downwards no matter how often one tries to return him to an upright position. And yes, it´s a he, even though our feminists will raise their hackles! I wonder if there´s already an edition of a feminist bible, where God is female. I should not be at all surprised- they have already rewritten Hofmannsthal´s Jedermann...
We had salmon in dijon sauce with mashed potatoes for lunch. Besides, I ate quite a lot of cookies out of frustration. And I made a list of things I need from beyond the border. It´s a long, long list! A friend has been tormenting me to accompany her to our favourite shopping centre, but I´d love to do the trip with daughter mine, so that she can do her own purchases there.
In the afternoon hubby drove off to do a bit of grocery shopping. My guess is that he mostly did it to collect the leaflets we hadn´t gotten this week- apparently our postman is sick or sick of delivering mail, because we haven´t gotten any all week long. Yes, that´s our postal system... Hubby was also very nice- he bought a new magazine with crossword puzzles. The one I had bought has lots of puzzles and sudokus, which I love solving, but no crosswords. Blimey! Daughter came at six in the evening, and we immediately started solving while having a last cup of coffee for the day. I am pretty sure I will be to bed before the prime time programme starts. I have been neglecting reading fanfiction as of late, and now I noticed that more of my favourites have vanished not only from AO3 but have fallen from WWW completely! Blimey, again!
