Let's have it, off with it would be a mostly correct translation about the situation with the snow. We had had a bit of white on the street yesterday, when it started raining. We had gotten plenty of it, when daughter and I left in the early morning. Even when parked in the carport my car had to be cleared of snow, not so easy at minus four degrees. And tomorrow? There'll be six degrees plus, and snow will turn into lots of sludge. Honestly, we should have stayed with rain, the drive to the airport was abysmal, three times I almost stalled when taking a turn into a side road. Not a single snow plough on the way, not even on the motorway. That's what our street (and all others, too) looked like at four thirty in the morning:

Hubby drove off to bring daughter back to our house (another early shift is looming ahead), in the meantime I finished the ramen. After lunch daughter and I napped on the couch- I admit that I heard number three doing a video call with hubby but pretended to be asleep. Crossword puzzles, coffee, cake bought by hubby- nothing of importance got done today except for cooking, hanging the washing up and fixing daughter's uniform trousers. The day was over in the blink of an eye...
