Not what I am used to write about, but this happens too often: I left the house in the morning with absolutely no signs of a cold and came back home sneezing and sniffling 40 minutes later. And all that after a quite disturbed sleeping period, since one of the dreams I had left me sort of terrified: If I have to drive I never, ever will drink. So when I dreamed that I made a good-night drink for daughter and me, consisting of half a glass (a big one) of eggnogg and the rest filled up with punch essence (which in my case is mostly rum with a bit of orange juice and spices) I had a mental meltdown- in my dream and afterwards, because I was not able to fall asleep again.
Basically my day was made up of grooming myself, cooking, a lot of housework (both bathrooms were due for a thorough cleaning, after I had put all decoration into bags and boxes- and yes, I do decorate my bathrooms for Christmas) and a bit of resting. And, of course, sniffling along. Dentist will not be amused when I show up with a cold. Or an allergic reaction. Whatever. But those threads have to come out tomorrow. Not one day longer for my tongue doing havoc with them!
Two times I went up to the bedroom and slipped under the duvet for a nap, and two times hubby rushed in and woke me. Oh, that man! Because he does not need a nap does not mean that I won't need any! He is like a battery-operated rabbit, I am quite the opposite! Honestly, when hubby left for a concert at six I felt so relieved- since sis had tickets, too, but could not make it to the Festspielhaus in time, hubby wanted me to accompany him. That man must be mad! I go to concerts if I feel like going, but definitely not when I trumpet like an elephant with a cold, with occasional bouts of sneezing!
