noadvertising We got a bit of snow during night. I would not have noticed first, when I did a tour de loo at five fifteen in the morning. But then I heard sounds from outside, had a look out of the window straight into the darkness, and there he was- idiot neighbour, snow shovel at hand. At six thirty shovelling was in full swing, and at eight, when I was having breakfast, naturally with hubby next to me, idiot neighbour's wife had joined the ruckus. I mean, who does shovel the lawn free of snow?
After grooming I did housework, continued with project scarf then peeled potatoes for lunch. Hubby brought the waste bin to the end of our street, which was funny to look at. Hubby walked like a penguin, because one could not see the ice under the snow, and newspapers wrote about this being the safest way to walk under such dire conditions without taking a tumble. I so wished
I had brought my mobile down from the bedroom, to make a short video of an emperor pinguin with a waste bin in tow!
I made potato patties Mexican style for lunch and spread stickiness all over the kitchen surfaces. Naturally I had to do a lot of cleaning afterwards and forewent the daily after-lunch rest. Instead I asked hubby to remove his car from blocking the carport, freed Sephiroth and went out for a bit of shopping. Can't be that hubby is at Tedi more often than I am! Came back one hour later with only five euros spent on napkins (lots of, can you imagine we ran out of them???) and finally started the second grooming of the slides- still way too many in the boxes for scanning! Not the best idea, because this work should be done at natural daylight. After let's say fifty slides my eyesight was heavily affected by the too bright light of the table lamp. Maybe or maybe not I will continue with sorting tomorrow. In all honesty- I should have taken those boxes and put them straight into the bin. No one is interested in those photos save for sister mine, and she could have done the sorting herself and not let other do the work! But that's my sister- no time for mundane things...
