I am an idiot. I felt burned-out all day long yesterday. And what did I do this morning? Got up at six thirty instead of catching up on sleep. Took a headache pill (it's the third day in a row with foehn), made breakfast and immersed myself in the dailies. At seven thirty, when hubby came down from the bedroom, I had done the big and the small crossword puzzle and the daily sudoku. Sis called for hubby's help with picking up and putting up the new exercise bike for her ailing husband, so my car was off, too. No tour de Tedi for me today, no nursery also. Around eleven I was so tired that I ignored the annoying wind from the South and went outside into the fresh, spring-like air, to examine the fruit trees. They need lots of cutting off and pruning off this year. Not for the next two week, because we are to have a hopefully last cold wave, but towards the end of February, if temperatures will allow then. I stripped the last artificial fir trees I made in December (will keep the frame for next year's decoration) and put the twigs into the bin, only to notice that the bin should have been brought to the main street for emptying this morning. Well, too late then! Back in I did burger patties and burger sauce. We had a late lunch because of hubby coming back at half past two only- just when daughter called to tell me she'd come in the late afternoon. Good grief, I had completely forgotten that she will have two early shifts in a row, means that I will have to get up at three in the morning. I went from tired to deadly tired az once, turned the TV on with Olympia on programme, closed my eyes and slept a good hour. Missed our team winning a medal, and not even hubby cheering was able to wake me. Alas, the sofa in the TV nook and my back aren't compatible. The backache I got when lying on it while watching Super Bowl is back. Why son loves to sleep there I cannot even fathom. Or has it to do with Elsa and Matthäus confined to the guestbed with their mother and their dad childfree for as long as they are our guests? The rest of the afternoon was spent with knitting. Only one paw left, then darning in, a bit of padding, then I might (or might not) post a picture. Depends on my mobile. The last days I was only able to read LJ entries. No commenting possible once again, and posting pictures does not work for weeks now...
