Ouch again
Sep. 6th, 2021 07:53 pmI woke with a stiff neck this morning. Must be because for som unknown reason I pretend to be able to block the sound of hubby´s snoring by building a wall with my duvet, which leaves my body mostly without cover, and boy, it´s cold in the bedroom during night, especially when both windows, the one in the bedroom plus the one in my mini studio, are open! I made me an early breakfast and watched in awe number four doing the morning run from his room to the kitchen, to fill up his water bottle, to the car to not be late for his first day of work. Such a difference between father and son- hubby is always early while number four does a spot landing. Never waste a minute in things you don´t need or like is the name of the game. I think it´s amusing, especially when hubby begins to flap.
Embroidery went awry in the morning, ten capital errors in ten minutes is record even for me. I had a fit of epic proportions. It went better in the late afternoon, when I was refreshed because of a nap on the terrace after a bath in the pool- a nap with a scarf around my neck to fend off the chill that came with the wind. Water temperatures, which went up during the first days of autumnal summer, are quickly going down again thanks to the cold temperatures during night and the steadily dwindling sunlight that makes it into the garden. I think I won´t press my luck with bathing from now on or I will end up with a bladder infection!
Cassian was here for a short visit and was unhappy he had to leave so soon, but he will be back on Thursday, when he will be allowed to do spend the day with us and take his nap in our bed- and watch some of those short video clips he loves so much together with grandma.
A former student of mine is on vacation in Croatia and sends me a three-minute video clip of the sea every other day. She knows how much I miss the sound of the waves, and she always has been a nice girl. Besides, she has already bought some bottles of wine we will have to savour when she is back. She often comes for a visit on the way back from the firm she works in, does so since countless years. She has been among the first pupils I had and is older than our number one...
